구글의 한국 문화 유산 프로젝트
Google Arts & Culture's ‘Korean Heritage Project’

구글은 2018년 6월 21일 한국의 문화재에 대한 대중의 접근성을 높이기 위해 박물관과 미술관을 위한 온라인 플랫폼 Google Arts & Culture에 한국을 추가했다고 발표했습니다. 2011 년에 처음 출시된 이 플랫폼은 전 세계 70여 국가의 1,200개가 넘는 박물관, 미술관 및 기관과 협력하여 전 세계 사람들이 고해상도 작품 이미지에 접근할 수 있게 해줍니다. 이번에 공개된 한국 유산 프로젝트는 국립중앙박물관을 비롯한 9개 기관과 파트너십 계약을 맺어서 진행된 것이며, 고대 왕국의 2,500점의 유물과 28,000점의 전통 유물과 18개의 유적지가 포함되었습니다.

Google Inc. said 21th June, it has added South Korea to its online platform for museums and galleries in a move that could increase public access to 30,000 South Korean cultural assets. The platform -- first launched in 2011 -- has worked with over 1,200 international museums, galleries and institutions from 70 countries to allow people around the world to access high-resolution images of artworks. In South Korea, the Internet company has signed partnership agreements with nine cultural institutions, including the National Museum of Korea, allowing users to explore the essence of Korean arts and culture. ‘Korean Heritage Project’ includes 2,500 artifacts from ancient Korean kingdoms and 28,000 traditional artifacts, as well as 18 historical sites.
