사무처로 복귀하니, 이이효재 선생님께서 보내주신 책이 책상에 놓여 있습니다. 찾아 뵈어야 할 터인데...

이이효재 선생님은 진해기적의도서관 개관을 추진하셨고, 운영위원장을 맡아주셨습니다. 어느 날인가, 이런 말씀을 하셨을 때 저는 얼마나 힘이 나던지.... "안 처장, 내가 평생 여성운동을 한다고 했는데, 이 도서관이야말로 여성운동의 현장이야. 젊은 여성들이 아이들 데리고 와서 뭔가 하려고 하는 모습을 보니, 세상 살맛이 나."
