Tips for Childcare

< The Picture Book Selected by So-Hee Park>

Recite a poem from Word-Plays Poems by Seung-ho Choi with your children once a day, you can share the feelings and communicate with your children through the poetic words in the book. I would like to recommend the book because it can give good opportunities for your children to experience the attractive power of language.

< Hae-Mi Park’s Short Lecture on Infant Development>

“Don’t Use English Picture Books as Study Materials!”

Both English picture books and Korean picture books are just books to babies and infants. The important thing is that children should find themselves interested in books filled with many stories and capture the context. If you use English picture books as study materials for English studying, you will be in danger of locking up your children in fractured sentences without whole understanding of the text.
